Mbappé will leave PSG! The only question is whether it will be this year or next season for free, Riolo is clear
Kylian Mbappé no longer believes in the project that PSG sporting director Leonardo Araújo has in his hands. This claim was made by Daniel Riolo, who spoke about the whole situation regarding the French striker in an interview with Marca.
Kylian Mbappé no longer believes in the project in the hands of PSG sporting director Leonardo Araújo. This claim was made by Daniel Riolo, who spoke about the whole situation regarding the French striker in an interview with Marca.
That Mbappé will leave PSG is more or less clear to every football fan. However, the question still remains when it will happen. However, journalist Riolo has now spoken about it, and he is clear that the French cannonballer will leave Paris either this summer or the next one.
“I know Mbappé has asked the club’s management for permission to leave, but it’s very complicated because you have to find a club that is willing to meet his high demands,” Riolo told Marca.
The 22-year-old Frenchman has a contract with PSG until next summer, so it is clear that if he wants to leave, it must happen in this transfer window. That is, at least if PSG are not willing to give up the large sum they would have collected for Mbappé at the expense of one season.
Mbappé’s market value is currently €160 million according to Transfermarkt. However, it is likely that the Parisian club will demand even more, despite the crisis that has hit the entire football world.
Even so, this mentioned amount is still high enough for PSG to bring in at least two top players, which would suitably complete the squad, in which Neymar remains.
“Mbappé does not believe in Leonardo’s project. If he does not leave this summer, he will leave for free next year. And in Doha, they don’t want to hear about that possibility,” Riolo further revealed.
Until a few months ago, Real Madrid was mentioned, where Zinedine Zidane wanted Mbappé. However, he is no longer coaching the White Ballet and it is questionable whether the author of 42 goals (PSG, 2020/2021 season) will still be their priority.
Of course, this is to be expected, but more clubs will undoubtedly join the game for his services!
