Mbappé to Saudi Arabia? The discussions are open. There is always a club that will make room for him, says Saudi league boss

It was expected that by this time Kylian Mbappé would be shining in a Real Madrid jersey, however, it is questionable if that will ever happen. The French international may well have closed the door on the Santiago Bernabeu for good. However, he has an open door in the Middle East.

It was expected that by this time Kylian Mbappé would be shining in a Real Madrid jersey, however, it is questionable if that will ever happen. The French international may well have closed the door on the Santiago Bernabeu for good. However, he has an open door in the Middle East.

Kylian Mbappé and his future. A topic that the world’s media addresses year after year, every transfer window, even outside the transfer window. His dream was to play for Real Madrid, but he pretty much closed the door there forever by turning it down once already.

Back then, PSG convinced him to stay in Paris with a ridiculous amount of money and allegedly various powers within the club. In the summer, however, the French gem turned into a naughty child when the player himself declared that he would not extend his contract.

Because of this, PSG dropped the player from the squad for some time before the season. However, as soon as the first game of the season failed, he was called back. His contract in Paris runs until the end of the season. It is worth mentioning that PSG tried to sell him to the Middle East. Just so he wouldn’t leave for free.

But Kylian refused. Instead, he’s still playing under the iconic Eiffel Tower and who knows what’s next. The period is approaching when he can start negotiating with various clubs to which he can leave for free in the summer. Apparently, the Middle East direction is not entirely unrealistic.

Will Mbappé go to Saudi Arabia?

As mentioned, Kylian Mbappé has even already been offered by PSG to clubs in the Middle East in the summer. Al-Ittihad reportedly offered the French star €200 million a year, a similarly large sum could be cashed in by PSG.

That Saudi Arabia’s interest in Mbappé was real has now been confirmed by Saudi Pro League boss Michael Emenalo.

“I can’t say how detailed the transfer negotiations were, but there was definitely interest from our side. If a player of that quality is ready to come, there will always be a club that will accept him and make room for him in the squad,” Emenalo is quoted by Marca.

“Our discussions with Mbappé are still open. I don’t know what he will choose, but our position is clear. Any player like that knows where to find us. If there is any possibility of Kylian becoming part of what he is building, either now or in the future, we cannot ignore it. He is a player I really like,” expressed the Saudi Arabian league president.
