A few days ago, Kylian Mbappé finally announced that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this season. The French star is set to head to Real Madrid. But until now it was only a guess as to what terms Mbappé would be given. Now we know the amount of the signing bonus.

It took indeed, several years for Kylian Mbappé to decide whether or not he would ever actually leave his current employer. Real Madrid sent several offers to the French capital, each of them having been brushed off the table by then.

However, the French international finally made his final statement recently. Whereupon he told the Paris Saint-Germain club management that he will leave at the end of the season.

Real Madrid are set to acquire him, with Mbappé’s transfer to the Spanish capital reportedly almost a done deal. As we reported earlier, only the final details are being sorted out.

As a reminder, they are discussing marketing rights and participation in this year’s Olympic Games. In order to satisfy Real Mbappé financially, a 60:40 deal in favour of the French superstar is on the cards in terms of advertising revenue.

Mbappé’s participation in the Olympics is also reportedly not making any wrinkles for Real. So, as it seems, there is nothing to prevent this transfer, even though Mbappé will drop significantly in salary.

Mbappé will receive a generous signing bonus

As we have also previously reported, Mbappé should not get more than €25 million at Real, which is not even half of his current salary. According to the latest reports, he should even receive “only” 15 million a year. In Paris, he receives €73 million thanks to his current contract.

That made the signing bonus all the more tempting. Mbappé was expected to receive around 100 million euros. However, Bleacher Report has clarified this information in the last few hours.

The 25-year-old forward will receive a signing bonus of €150 million. Real will pay him this amount in stages. Needless to say, the club from Madrid can afford such an amount for a reason. As Mbappé will arrive in the summer after the end of his contract as a free agent, i.e. for free.
