Mbappé fails in penalty kicks and the Swiss advance sensationally!

Switzerland made up the two-goal deficit and tied the game at 3:3, but no goal was scored in overtime and penalties had to be taken. The Swiss converted all 5 penalties, France only 4, Mbappé failed.

In the fifth minute of the first overtime, Pavard had a chance, but Sommer made a great save and headed the ball out for a corner. Giroud had the next and last chance of the overtime, but Sommer was quick to interfere with his header and the penalty was awarded.
