Martin Suchomel has been fulfilling his dreams lately. He managed to get into Sparta’s A-team, where he has already played a game in the league. Now, he has taken his career to the next level, as he got his start in European competition.
”It’s a dream come true to play in the Europa League here at Letná. Weare sorry that we didn’t win in front of our own fans,” Martin Suchomel began the interview for AC Sparta Praha.
”We go into the rematch with the idea that we have to win. We willdo everything to advance,” promises the 19-year-old Sparta defender.
According to Suchomel, it was a very tough match with a lot of hard fights. There were not many mistakes in the match. However, a small mistake led to Partizan’s goal, which decided the winner of the match.
Martin Suchomel realizes that despite the toughness of the opponent in the first match, Sparta can outplay Partizan in the rematch. The players still have enough to fight for promotion.
”I think we had pressure throughout the game. But we missed the final phase. We created pressure, but we didn’t finish,” the Sparta defender said.
