Martin Hasek’s career is going down, his market value has dropped again

Martin Hašek’s career seems to be going downhill for good. Even he couldn’t save German Würzburger from relegation to the third Bundesliga, and the club terminated their cooperation with him after the season. And to make matters worse, Hasek’s value on the market is steadily falling.
He was one of the most talented Czech footballers. Martin Hašek had a very good career, but it was literally halted by the rift with Sparta, which still affects him today.
He suddenly became a free player. No club wanted to engage him because they wanted nothing to do with the fine Hašek was ordered to pay to Sparta. And his reputation as a troubled player with no playing experience certainly didn’t help him either.
Eventually, German second division side Würzburger reached for him to help save them from relegation. He didn’t succeed in the end, and he rather missed his German engagement.
It is no wonder that Hašek’s value on the market has only decreased since his contract with Sparta was terminated. While he had a market value of £1.62 million at the end of the year, he is now valued at just £450,000.
It’s clear that Czech football has lost a very talented footballer due to one row. Indeed, it will be extremely difficult for Hašek to find his old form again. Perhaps as difficult as finding a club that will still be after him.
