Martin Hašek Jr. has a new engagement. After the end of his career with German Würzburger, he signed as a free agent with Turkish second league team BB Erzurumspor.
Martin Hašek’s career is on the swing. The Sparta Prague graduate went on loan in his youth until he finally moved to Bohemians 1905 in the summer of 2017.
He thrived there, and they bought him back for cheap in the summer of 2019. Hašek became an important link as time went on and once he started to become a mainstay, there were problems.
He fell out with the club and eventually terminated his contract in the winter of 2020. Already as a free agent, he signed for German side Würzburger, but there was no peace of mind.
He had to pay Sparta CZK 20 million in lost profits. This was most likely covered by the club, although it is questionable whether Hašek only paid it back.
But after six months in Germany he quit and had to look for a new job in the summer. He finally found it when he was taken on by Turkish second division club Erzurumspor.
The length of the contract has not been officially announced yet, but it is not expected to be permanent.
