- Chelsea won all three away games under Maresca with an aggregate score of 10: 2

Maresca satisfied but aware of reserves
Maresca, who has won all three of his away games in the Premier League since arriving at Stamford Bridge, was satisfied after the West Ham game but highlighted the need for further improvement.
Although Chelsea won, the game did not go as he expected, especially in the first half. West Ham had several chances, including a goal disallowed for offside, and the Chelsea defence had to intervene several times to keep a clean sheet.
“Results and points are always important, but for me the key is to see the team improve,³” Maresca said. “Today we could have attacked better, defended better and especially controlled the game better. We often act too hastily and want to attack immediately, instead of holding the ball more and playing more patiently. But overall I think we deserved the win.”
Maresca: Improvement is a matter of time
Maresca is aware that Chelsea still have plenty of room for improvement and stressed that the road to optimum performance is a long one. “We are on the right track but there is a long way to go. It looks like everything is fine because we won, but we are still doing a lot of things to improve, both in attack and defence,” he added.
The key to success is the cooperation of the players
One of the key factors that Maresca stresses is teamwork. Since his arrival, he has focused on getting the players to adopt his style of play and philosophy, and so far the strategy has paid off. “The most important thing is how the players have accepted working as a team. Their willingness to work together is the foundation for success,” the coach said.
Chelsea under Maresca: Three away wins in a row
Maresca is only the eighth coach in Premier League history to win his first three away games. Chelsea continue to be in great form under the Italian coach, although the coach reminds that the road to ideal performance will be a long one. The 3-0 win over West Ham clearly shows that the team is moving in the right direction.
