Marc Márquez – six-time world champion and one of Moto GP’s greatest legends. Carlos Sainz is the star of the queen of motorsport and currently defends the colours of Ferrari.
However, the two drivers will play together in the much-loved series, La Casa de Papel. The series is known by its Czech title, Papirový dům, and can be found on Netflix’s streaming platform.
Needless to say, for Sainz, filming the series is certainly a more enjoyable experience than starring in the Drive to Survive series. In fact, not only he, but also the other pilots have described it as a farce that creates artificial drama.
And no wonder, the creators of this series created an almost murderous relationship between him and Lando Norris. In the real world, the opposite is true, which Sainz also confirmed and, like Fernando Alonso or Max Verstappen, criticized this creation.
According to the latest information, Sainz and Márquez are expected to play two drivers, but it will be more of a cameo role.
Given their time commitments, this is also completely understandable. However, it may be exciting for fans to see familiar faces from the world of motorsport in one of the best TV shows of the year.
Sainz has said in the past that La Casa de Papel, the English title of Money Heist, is one of his favourite shows.
The second half of season five, which will also see both stars, should be available on Netflix from December 3 this year.
This will grant Sainz and Márquez their wish to star in their favourite series.
