Mandous? He’ll get in the gate! He looks great, but the goalkeeper is the longest adaptation, says Trpišovský

Slavia Prague only drew at home with Polish Legia and many are pushing Ales Mandous, who is a member of the national team, into goal for the league match at the expense of Ondrej Kolar, who has had a bad start to the new season.
Ondrej Kolar is not in good form at the start of the 2021/22 season. First he made mistakes against Teplice, then with Ferencváros and last with Legia.
He has made mistakes before, but now he is scoring goals, and it is even more obvious. That’s why it is being discussed whether it would be better to give him a day off and let Aleš Mandous catch.
“He’s been here for a while, about a month and a half. He has a good game behind the defense, he has a high position, he will get in goal, but it will be his first start, it will be when he and the team are ready. Ondra had a layoff, so every game is a plus for him so far.
But we plan to put Ales on, he is the longest adapting to the goalkeeper and stopper position. He really looks great, I never worked with him, he had a lot of references, but he’s even better than I thought. He will get into the goal at the right time, when there are not so many stoppers in the defence,” said Jindřich Trpišovský at the press conference.
It is likely that he will not get his chance against Baník yet. The coaching staff will want to show that they trust Kolář.
The stoppers will be spinning now, especially because Ondrej Kúdela, who had a long sentence, can already start in the rematch.
