A number of big games await us this weekend, with the Premier League set to see one of the biggest duels of the season. Liverpool, who haven’t lost in 18 league games, come to Old Trafford.

That being said, Liverpool are enjoying another great run of league unbeatenness, but there is still a long way to go to break Arsenal’s record 49 match streak.

Even so, Jurgen Klopp’s charges are the only team yet to taste the bitterness of defeat in the current season.

The fact that the last 5 mutual duels have not ended in defeat (2 wins for Liverpool and 3 draws) also plays into the hands of the Reds players.

Moreover, Manchester United have won only two out of the last 6 matches and the three points have always been taken at the end of the game by Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 3 league goals so far. Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes (both 4 goals) also have better stats.

Roberto Firmino has the same number of league goals, Sadio Mané has 5 and Mohamed Salah has 7, who is the top scorer of the current Premier League season with Jamie Vardy.

I’m worried because the performances and results of the past two or three weeks have been miserable, from the coach to the performances of some players. Unfortunately, this time I see it clearly in Liverpool’s favour. However, it is played at Old Trafford, where there will be a great atmosphere and that can help the home side.

Solskjaer has already managed to beat Manchester City, Chelsea or knock Liverpool out of the FA Cup in previous seasons, it’s kind of his specialty. Some United fans are even speculating that Ole could end up like Mourinho after the Liverpool derby, so this game will definitely be a cracker!

My prediction is 1::1

I believe LFC will persevere in the title fight until the very end. But only the winter games will show more. I wouldn’t write Manchester United off from the fight for top spot though. Anyway, if Solskjaer wasn’t on the bench, the Red Devils are a real threat in all competitions.

I was just telling a friend that the North-West derby could be our first league loss this season. Sure, our form is better in the Premier League, Salah is great at the moment, but something tells me circumstances will play against us on Sunday.

My tip is 1::1
