Manchester United vs. West Ham: Preview and betting tips
Czech football fans will be treated to a very spicy duel on Sunday when Vladimir Coufal and Tomáš Souček visit Old Trafford. An improving West Ham will not go to Manchester in a defeatist mood, which corresponds to the relatively high odds for the home team to win.

Manchester United have been fairly pedalling since their defeat to their city rivals, notching up the only two points dropped when they drew with Newcastle and Chelsea. Erik ten Hag’s charges have otherwise managed all their other duels victoriously.
Thanks to this and, of course, the stumbling of the teams at the top of the table, Manchester United is in 6th place with 20 points. Tottenham are only three points behind third, which they can erase thanks to the match they still have to play.
West Ham are also doing well and lost only one game in October, when they lost at Anfield to Liverpool, who only needed one goal to get three points.
The key to this success has been a solid defence, which only conceded 4 goals in October and never more than one.
However, the Hammers’ defence will have a tough time at Old Trafford, where only Real Sociedad and Newcastle have managed to keep a clean sheet this season.
Even the inter-matches speak in favour of Manchester United, who are unbeaten in 18 of their last 19 home games against West Ham. Moreover, at Old Trafford, only Manchester City have won their last 14 matches in the Premier League.
In addition, David Moyes has injury problems as the very important pair of Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta are struggling and probably the English winger, who has two league goals to his name, will not take the field on Sunday.
The odds on Manchester United to win, currently on offer at 1.7, are thus a very tempting proposition, but one that reflects West Ham’s improving record.
