Manchester United vs. Everton: Preview and betting tips
Manchester United managed to win Wednesday’s game against Brentford and moved within a point of third-placed Newcastle. It’s Everton who are finally starting to pick up points on a regular basis, which keeps them afloat. Saturday’s Premier League kicks off with a mutual duel, who will rejoice after the final whistle?

Sean Dyche came to Everton with a simple task, to save the club in the Premier League, which he has been fairly successful at so far, picking up 12 points from 9 games. Moreover, we are talking about the fact that out of those 9 games he has played 5 times against top teams – 2 times Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.
It was against both of the aforementioned London teams that Everton played last time and got a draw from both duels. Ellis Simms equalised against Chelsea in the 89th minute and Michael Keane against Tottenham in the 90th minute. What can I say, typical Toffees!
Manchester United had three league games without a win before the aforementioned Wednesday duel – 7: 0 against Liverpool, 0: 0 against Southampton and 2: 0 against Newcastle.
The win over Brentford was certainly a big boost for coach Erik ten Hag, who benched striker Wout Weghorst. I am of the opinion that this is an ideal solution, which, if the Dutch coach has enough players, significantly improves the quality of the team.
Weghorst has shown practically nothing since his arrival and on the contrary, many actions have ended in failure because of his slowness. However, because of his stature, there is not much that can be done about it and so Red Devils fans have no choice but to hope that there will not be so many attacking players out of the game.
Just as there is a huge difference playing Manchester United with and without Casemiro::
Manchester United with Casemiro::
38 games
29 wins
5 draws
4 defeats
Manchester United without Casemiro::
9 matches
3 wins
2 draws
4 defeats
As far as mutual matches are concerned, Manchester United have won the last two (2: 1 and 3: 1), with the last win coming on January 3 this year.
A similar picture to January can be expected on Saturday as the home side should dominate this contest and if they are also effective, they will go for another three points.
