Manchester United should already be decided about Jadon Sancho’s future and are actively working on his replacement for the January transfer window. One of the options then should be Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.

The troubled Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho may be an excellent footballer, but his reputation precedes him and after Dortmund, Manchester United are now struggling with his morale. Erik ten Hag had to put the English winger out of the team and the question is whether the player will find his way back or go elsewhere.

In the current season, ten Hag has been given space in the opening three league games in which he has played a total of 76 minutes. However, it was no glory. Well, then when the news came that the player was out of the squad, many started to recall his end at Borussia.

Fabrizio Romano, on his Twitter or social network X, recalled a situation several years old.

This was when the German newspaper BILD reported that Sancho was late for training, going away for two or three days after a game or playing games at night, which then made him sleepless for training and not only for training.

Manchester United and its bid to sign Federico Chiesa

In response to the growing uncertainty over Sancho’s future, Manchester United are actively looking for a suitable replacement. According to Calciomercato, it is the Juventus winger who is on the radar for the English outfit to prioritise on their list of potential reinforcements.

However, the Italian footballer has faced a serious injury that has sidelined him for a substantial part of the season. However, the current season shows what a great player he is as he has returned to great form. In his first six games, he contributed four goals and an assist.

Chiesa has a contract with Juventus until 2025, so it can be assumed that the Italian outfit will either secure him with a new contract or actually have to lean towards his departure.

Manchester United would reportedly have to come up with a sum of around €65 million. However, given the qualities of the 25-year-old Italian, it is highly likely that the transfer sum will exceed the €100 million mark.
