De Jong didn’t work out, now the Red Devils are trying to get the Real Madrid star

Manchester United have been scrambling all summer to get reinforcements for the midfield. But to no avail. Frenkie de Jong stayed at Barcelona, Adrien Rabiot is asking for a big wage for a change, which the English club is not willing to pay.

This is also why the club, under the leadership of Erik ten Hag, is trying to look elsewhere. Quite surprisingly, he is trying Real Madrid, to whom he wants to blow away one of his biggest stars.

The GOAL server came up with the information that Manchester United is now focusing its attention on the arrival of Casemiro. From the Brazilian international’s point of view, the transfer doesn’t make much sense, however, it would be a big haul for the Red Devils.

If Casemiro doesn’t work out either, the management of the English club will try to acquire Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

There’s also a move to strengthen the attacking line, with Madrid in the hunt

Manchester United have two league games under their belt and lost both. In the first round they fell at home to Brighton 1: 2, in the second round they lost ignominiously to Brentford 0: 4.

In two games against not the toughest of opponents, a single goal? That’s not a good sign. In the first game, Christian Eriksen was also on top. In the second game, Cristiano Ronaldo came on, but he didn’t exactly help the team.

Already in the summer, Manchester United tried to get a striker, but no opportunity came up. The arrival of Marko Arnautovic didn’t work out either. Now there is talk of Matheus Cunha coming from Atlético Madrid.

Cunha, however, is definitely not a player of the calibre to take the Red Devils off their heels.
