Manchester United and Atlético Madrid are looking for a coach! Both clubs have found their chosen one in Italy

Manchester United are still looking for a coach to take over the first team from the new season. Atlético Madrid are then looking for a possible replacement for Diego Simeone. Both clubs see Inter Milan’s head coach as the ideal candidate. How will he march?

Manchester United are currently led by Ralf Rangnick, however he will only be the coach until the end of this season, after which he will move to another position in charge of the team. Therefore, the English club is still looking around to see who will take over the head coach position.

Atlético Madrid is considering the end of Diego Simeone, who after winning the title last season is not able to build on the successful season in the current one. The club’s poor results and unattractive playing display are troubling the management.

Surprisingly, both teams have found their chosen one in Italy, but have not yet made an official offer. At least that’s what the daily Il Corriere dello Sport reports.

Both clubs had a non-binding contact with the coach of Inter Milan. However, Simone Inzaghi has only been the coach of the Italian champion since the summer and Inter certainly do not want to make any more changes to the coaching post after the departure of Antonio Conte.

Inzaghi has had a successful stint at Lazio Roma, winning his first trophy at Inter this week when his charges won the Italian Super Cup. In addition, he took the Milan side to the Champions League eighth round after ten years.

Both Manchester United and Atlético Madrid are said to like not only the results Inzaghi has produced, but also the style of play the Italian coach has instilled in his teams.

However, as already mentioned, Inter are not looking to make any changes to the coaching position. Therefore, they are preparing a new long-term and improved contract for Inzaghi. The current one is valid until the summer of 2023, the new one should be valid until 2025. In addition to that, his salary should be doubled.
