The two English big clubs Manchester United and Arsenal have a tough battle not only in the Premier League but also in the transfer market. Both would like to acquire the super-talented midfielder Mikhail Mudryk.
the 21-year-old Mykhailo Mudryk is a rising star in world football, with some claiming that Ukraine haven’t had such a footballer since the legendary Andriy Shevchenko. And the price that Shakhtar Donetsk intend to demand from potential buyers for their young mainstay is in line with that.
And it could be astronomical indeed. Donetsk executive assistant Carlo Nicolini recently revealed to journalists that Shakhtar will want to sell the Ukrainian international for a sum that could reach up to €100 million.
That this would be the biggest sale of a player from the Ukrainian league in history probably goes without saying. Mudrov has been performing fantastically this season and it is only a matter of time before he moves to a big European club. His target, however, should be the Premier League.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano advises Mudryk to choose Arsenal
According to Calciomercato, Arsenal have even sent a €60 million offer to Shakhtar, but the Ukrainian outfit want to get even more for Mudryk, so the Gunners management will have to push hard.
Especially when they have a strong rival in the form of rival Manchester United in the fight for the player’s services. However, renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano advises Mudryk to land at Arsenal, which he believes is the ideal team for the talented Ukrainian.
“I think Arsenal is perfect for Mudryk. Premier League, an ambitious project and a great manager who relies mainly on young players (Mikel Arteta – ed.),” Romano listed the advantages of a possible commitment in London.
Moreover, Mudryk would meet his compatriot and national teammate Olexandr Zinchenko there.
