Manchester City eliminated Sporting and Silva and Sterling scored great goals! Check out their wonderful goals
A tragic night for Sporting Lisbon, an excellent one for Manchester City. It was clear who the favourites were in the match, however, few seemed to expect the destruction the Citizens unleashed. Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling, in particular, were responsible for some wonderful goals.

Manchester City made a very enjoyable trip to Portugal. It was hosted by Sporting Lisbon on their soil on Tuesday night, who were very generous hosts. In fact, it gave the English opponent a high victory.
Not that Sporting dropped the game. The quality of the Citizens is simply on another level. Pep Guardiola’s charges only confirmed that they are one of the best teams of today, winning 5-0 and not allowing the Portuguese big club a single shot between the three bars.
In addition to the shooting superiority, Manchester City understandably had a higher percentage of possession of the ball. It was more or less over after the first half when the scoreboard showed 0: 4 in favour of the home team.
Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring in the seventh minute and ten minutes later Bernardo Silva scored an exhibition goal from half-volley.
Phil Foden and again Bernardo Silva, who was assisted by Raheem Sterling, scored before the end of the half.
And it was Sterling who provided the second exhibition goal of the game when, after a pass from Silva, he fired the ball into the top right corner from outside the sixteen.
It is worth mentioning that Silva could have scored three goals, but one was disallowed for offside.
Manchester City will therefore take a calm result to the rematch, which more or less decides the advancing team.
