Mallorca vs. Real Madrid: Preview and betting tips
Real Madrid are off until Monday, when they play Mallorca in the Spanish league. Carlo Ancelotti’s charges will take nothing but a win, but they are not doing too well away from home.
Real Madrid are off until Monday, when they play Mallorca in the Spanish league. Carlo Ancelotti’s charges will take nothing but a win, but they are not doing too well away from home.
Mallorca have been underachieving, pretty much since the start of this calendar year. They have lost the last four rounds of La Liga and are embroiled in a relegation battle. They are currently just two points behind 18th-placed Elche in 16th place.
Real, on the other hand, boosted their confidence during the week with a turnaround and progression past PSG into the Champions League quarter-finals. Moreover, they lead the league with a comfortable eight-point lead over Sevilla, who have been struggling in recent games and results.
The hosts rely on Ángel Rodríguez, the experienced striker has scored six goals and assisted four in all competitions. Offensive midfielder Dani Rodríguez has been in on five of the team’s goals, scoring three and assisting on two.
Kari Benzema has been scorching it in a Real jersey, the French striker has netted thirty goals and assisted on twelve. Brazilian magician Vinicius Junior has sixteen goals and thirteen assists.
The home side’s defence is not working, they have conceded twelve goals in their last six games and have the second worst overall defensive record in La Liga (45 goals conceded).
On the other hand, Real are not doing well away from the Santiago Bernabeu, winning only one of their last four away games.
Given the big mental boost of the win over PSG, I think Real will win and score at least two goals.
