MacKinnon continues to score points on home ice

MacKinnon scored for the 22nd straight home game. He scored a total of 45 points on 16 goals and 29 assists. He is just one home game away from tying the club record set by legend Joe Sakic. He accomplished the feat in 23 straight home games.
It was the 66th point of the season for the Colorado forward and he is still one point behind productivity leader Nikita Kucherov for second place in scoring. Another 10 points back are Artemi Panarin of the Rangers and David Pastrnak of the Bruins, who also recorded one assist in tonight’s game.
Marchand jumps in Bruins historical scoring
The Bruins captain scored two goals again in the game against Colorado and is already almost at the level of points per game this season. He is Boston’s second-best player behind the sovereign Pastrnak. Today’s two goals marked his 898th and 899th career points for the Boston team. He scored 389 goals and had 510 assists. He has already jumped to fifth place in the Bruins’ historical scoring ahead of legend Rick Middleton.
