Maccabi Haifa fans competition for Tribuna Sever? Cheering also disrupted the famous thanksgiving
According to some sources, as many as 4 thousand fans of the Israeli champion arrived to the Prague Eden for the European Conference League match between Slavia and Maccabi Haifa. But this number is probably a bit high. In any case, one has to tip one’s hat to the massive support for their club.
According to some sources, as many as 4 thousand fans of the Israeli champion arrived to the Prague Eden for the European Conference League match between Slavia and Maccabi Haifa. But this number is probably a bit high. In any case, hats off to the massive support for their club. After all, Israel is not a few kilometres away from the Czech Republic and the Sešiovans had to expand the guest sector even more due to the great interest of the visiting fans.
The strength and discomfort of the Maccabi Haifa fans was felt at every corner played by Petr Shevcik from the area below. However, the Israeli fans did not get the desired goal. Maccabi did create some chances, but the big push came in the final ten minutes.
The visitors had their best chance at the very end when they hit the side netting of Mandous’ goal. As far as the cheering was concerned, Tribuna Sever dominated thanks to the numerical superiority.
The guests, however, did not lag far behind and also contributed to a good match atmosphere. Journalist Ondřej Zlámal even offered a comparison of the two fan pots and it probably wasn’t that big a difference in numbers! Take a look for yourself!
Libor Sečka, the former ambassador to Great Britain, who is very close to Slavia and also to West Ham London, shared a video of a Slavic thank-you on Twitter.
Slavia’s famous boast may have had some serious gusto, but Maccabi fans disrupted it at the slightest.
