Lukaku on his way out? Inter are trying to bring back the Belgian cannonballer
It’s not even a year since Romelu Lukaku moved from Inter Milan to Chelsea FC for €100 million. And according to the latest reports, he is planning a return to the Nerazzurri in the upcoming transfer window. First, however, there should be a guest appearance.

No and no. It seems that the Belgian striker is simply not destined to succeed at Chelsea in London. He first transferred to Stamford Bridge in 2011 from Anderlecht, only to start moving relatively soon.
A loan spell at West Bromwich, a loan spell at Everton and then a move to Goodison Park, where Lukaku turned into a beast tearing opposing defences apart. In his four years in Liverpool blue, he has netted 68 goals in the Premier League and it was a foregone conclusion that there would be a scramble for his services.
And it did, with Manchester United, who sent over €80 million to Everton, on the receiving end of the signing.
In two years at Old Trafford, it has to be admitted Lukaku hasn’t shown that much, although his involvement in Manchester certainly can’t be considered a complete flop. And so the opportunity arose to go to Italy, unexplored by Lukaku, and fight there in the colours of Inter Milan.
Cut loose from the chain
A hit and miss. If he was a beast at Everton, what he was doing on the Apennine Peninsula was unreal. He scored 47 goals in two seasons in the league alone, he and teammate Lautaro Martinez clicked perfectly and they managed to regain the Scudetto for Inter.
Lukaku became an absolute superstar among strikers and one of the most wanted players on the planet. Chelsea have once again chosen him for their services. Perhaps the only thing that Thomas Tuchel’s brilliant team lacked was a striker with killer instincts.
Unfortunately for Blues fans, however, after this season their team is still missing that “goal scoring” striker. So it makes sense for both the players and the club to try and return things to the way things used to be. Will Lukaku move to Inter again?
