The second series on Monday’s schedule was between ThunderTalk Gaming and Anyone’s Legend. ThunderTalk were looking to improve their lacklustre reputation here.
ThunderTalk Gaming hasn’t come as a pleasant surprise from the spring split so far. Their slightly confused performances don’t add to their composure, especially against weaker opponents.
Against Anyone’s Legend, it should have been a valuable gain before a tough schedule. But LPL sometimes goes against the grain.
All assumptions and a clear message to all were made by ThunderTalk in the first game. A very dominant and responsible game gave the opponent a chance to gain only two kills. After this performance, many began to believe in a clear and clean 2-0 win.
Anyone’s Legend, however, did not give up. The second game was, surprisingly to some watching, very good. The team played gradually, patiently and courageously for the entire forty minutes. As a reward for their perseverance, the team was awarded a win and the opportunity to play a decisive third game.
The third game was marked by great acceleration of the bot line. Anyone’s players were able to set up important kills for their marksman and now we could say veteran iBoy.
The team once again put on a team performance and the players were confident of a big win. After all, they were only three for sixteen in the spring.
The first win of the summer for Anyone’s Legend, Jungler Xiaohao was very emotional during the interview
The team deserved the win for a job well done. Maybe it can kickstart this unassuming team into something bigger, who knows. The Chinese league has written a few stories like this before.
