LPL: LNG coaches are encouraging the team ahead of the clash with BLG. Will LNG surprise and go straight to Worlds?

Today’s series between LNG and BLG will be marked by the battle for the final of the summer split and the guarantee of participation in the world championship. Who will be the lucky one?
The Chinese LPL, despite its accumulation of domestic stars enriched by Korean ones, has been marked by two dominant teams this year. The role of the big favourite is clearly filled by JDG. The position of the imaginary number two should have been held by EDG, but they did not manage the summer as expected and BLG moved into their place.
Until Sunday’s clash with JDG they were the strongest team. The subsequent clash with JDG (0-3) brought the team back down to earth. But the Chinese LPL is not just about these two organisations. Under the radar, meanwhile, LNG have put together a team that now has a unique chance to succeed.
The LNG are no pushover in the LPL. A team that includes big stars like Tarzan, Scout or GALA will fit right into the scalp of superteams, of which the LPL has several.
However, this is definitely not the type of superteam that is plastered all over the place (Vitality, FlyQuest). Chinese superteams are of a different nature, and we see less of the star manners here. Team success and hard work are more prominent.
LNG has changed plans after the setback from the spring split. They have recruited GALA from the struggling RNG into their ranks. Going into the clash with JDG in the 4th round of the playoffs, the team managed to roll the first of the superteams – Weibo Gaming. While BLG and JDG failed in all aspects. LNG took the series with JDG to five games.
“Losing doesn’t mean it’s over. Don’t lose confidence, but we have to learn from the loss,” Coach Poppy urged his team after the loss to JDG. The LNG players did not hide their disappointment but also their motivation for the rematch. “We have to learn from this lesson. Let’s win the next series,” added Tarzan.
Will LNG be able to roll BLG out of the way? We’ll see later today. The fight for direct qualification to the Worlds and the LPL title begins.
