Loser of the day: Bettor almost made over 28,000 from 5 crowns, his winnings were ruined by the opportunity with the lowest odds on the ticket

The national team break in football is not always the most welcome period, but for bettors it is at least another opportunity to try to earn some money. But sometimes it happens that a great ticket doesn’t work out because of a single match. This bitterness has now been felt by our Loser of the Day.

The unnamed bettor tried his luck in an interesting way during this national break and almost succeeded. He bet a ticket for 5 crowns, and if he won he could earn 28,166.05 crowns. But luck was not smiling on him.

On the contrary. Our underdog of the day bet on 12 different football matches and in all of them he bet on how many goals would be scored in the first half. His selections were almost perfect.

Interestingly, on seven of the betting opportunities placed on the ticket the odds exceeded 2.00, i.e. on more than half of them. And all the highest odds are in the green.

The highest odds of 2.65 were for more than 1.5 goals to be scored in the first half of the Belize-Guatemala match. Ironically, the relatively risky ticket was walled off by the bet with the lowest odds.

Specifically, it was a bet on seeing more than 1.0 goal in the first half of the Kuwait-Philippines match at odds of 1.61. However, the match ended goalless and so the bettor was able to say goodbye to a fairy tale win.

The ticket also included bets on the France vs. Netherlands match, specifically on the match to score more than 1.25 goals at odds of 2.32, and the Austria vs. Azerbaijan match with an identical bet, but at odds of 1.96.

So 5 crowns could have turned into a fabulous win, unfortunately the ticket has a bitter aftertaste. However, it is a hope for the future, as clearly nothing is impossible in the world of betting.
