Look at Gueye’s foul that injured Mbappé in training. Will he start against Real Madrid?

Kylian Mbappé. Maybe not PSG’s biggest star, but clearly the best and key player of the Parisian team. This season he absolutely outshines Messi and Neymar, but now he may not be available for the crucial Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. He was injured in training by Idrissa Gana Gueye.

PSG had vowed that the attacking trio of Neymar – Mbappé – Messi would destroy everything that came its way. But that’s not happening at all, when this trio started together in the starting line-up, they won only 44% of the games.

Another defeat came on Saturday against Nice. Mbappé didn’t come on because of yellow cards, Neymar and Messi couldn’t do anything themselves, the Argentine didn’t even get a shot on target. The numbers make it clear who is pulling PSG. Mbappé – 14+10, Messi – 2+10, Neymar – 4+3.

PSG then officially stated that Mbappé has undergone tests, which he will undergo again after 24 hours. However, he is expected to fly to Madrid with the team and his start will not be decided until the day of the game, Wednesday.
