The Premier League is known to be the toughest league in the world. In short, anyone can beat anyone regardless of squad value, names on the roster or position in the table. Only the really great ones manage to keep their win streak without a loss at some higher number, in this article the 3 teams with the longest streak of matches without a loss will be presented.

Tottenham – 6

The London club is perhaps the least expected club in this list, everyone would have expected completely different clubs. Last season would be the one most people in the white part of London would like to forget about, as the team failed to qualify for any European cups that fans have been used to in recent years.

In the summer, main mover and captain Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich and no great things were expected from Tottenham at the start of the season. James Maddison did come in, but what is that compared to just Kane. Anyway, Tottenham haven’t lost in the Premier League this season.

They started the season with a draw against Brentford, but then they went up against a so far lackluster Manchester United and managed 3 more games for full points. If we add to that the win in the last league round last season, we stop at number 6.

Tottenham could thus be one of the dark horses of the Premier League season, if leaders like Son maintain their form they will be fighting for European cups again. However, the disadvantage of not playing European Cups this year could become an advantage as the club will not have such a demanding schedule.

Arsenal – 6

We can only debate at length whether the Gunners would have won the title if this series had been longer. After all, there was a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of last season when Arsenal lost 2 games in a row, definitely sinking any hopes of winning the title.

Since then, however, the Canaries haven’t lost and are on a six-game unbeaten streak, which, like Tottenham, started at the end of last season when Wolves got demolished. Arsenal’s opponents at the beginning of this season had an easier, ideal birth, only Manchester United was a tougher opponent, which Mikel Arteta’s team almost easily coped with.

Liverpool – 16

It may sound unbelievable, but Liverpool really haven’t played 16 games in a row in the Premier League. Last season was a horror, even so Jurgen Klopp’s charges did not lose their last 11 games at the end of it and thanks to that they reached at least the positions guaranteeing the Europa League.

The last loss was on April 1, when Liverpool fell to title-chasing Manchester City. A clash of two suffering teams from last year awaited the start of this season, Liverpool travelled to Stamford Bridge where the teams drew.

Since then, Liverpool have won every game. Neither Aston Villa, Wolves nor Newcastle have given the team any problems. At the weekend, Klopp and co. are waiting for West Ham, if Liverpool win, we can witness a long unbeaten run.
