Floyd Mayweather won an exhibition boxing match with Logan Paul in June, but this fight has a rather interesting twist.
In fact, the famous boxer owes the influencer a share of the Pay Per View, of which he sold 1 million. That’s between five and ten million dollars.
It’s not surprising that Paul’s not taking it easy. Since Mayweather has been avoiding paying, he has decided to take the drastic step of suing.
“There is a lawsuit that was filed last week or two weeks ago. They’re pushing him legally through the legal process, but also behind the scenes. This situation has to be embarrassing for Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather that he doesn’t have enough money to pay my brother,” his brother Jake Paul said recently.
Thus, there is talk about whether Mayweather is in financial trouble, which is why he simply has no money to pay the money he owes.
But the more realistic option is that he’s simply trying to see what he can get away with. In fact, before his fight with Paul, his brother Jake stole his cap from his head and built a mocking merch on it. Of course, he didn’t like that very much.
