On Wednesday night we will find out the last participant of this year’s English EFL Cup. It will come from the Liverpool vs West Ham clash, which will kick off at Anfield Road on Wednesday 20th December at 21:00. The match will be televised by Nova Sport 1.

Where to watch Liverpool vs West Ham?

On Wednesday, the last quarter-final match of the EFL Cup is on the schedule. Liverpool is undoubtedly one of the biggest favourites to win the trophy, but due to the league match with Arsenal we will probably see changes in the line-up. It is expected to be a goal-scoring clash, which you will be able to watch on Wednesday, December 20, from 21:00 on Nova Sport 1.

Will Liverpool play with a changed line-up?

Liverpool will play Arsenal in the league on Saturday. The winner will go top of the Premier League table. That is why we can expect some changes in the starting line-up of coach Jürgen Klopp in the EFL Cup match against West Ham. Kelleher is expected to start in goal, and the absence of Mohamed Salah or Virgil van Dijk is certainly not ruled out.

For West Ham, an ideal path to the European Cups

West Ham are currently eighth in the Premier League table. The path to the European cups, specifically the Europa League group stage, will therefore definitely be easier via the EFL Cup. In the eighth round, the Hammers put a stop to the aforementioned Arsenal. Will Liverpool suffer a similar fate?

Betting tip – West Ham to lose

In a league match, I would vote for Liverpool to win, but here I expect the away team not to lose. The team around Tomáš Souček has managed to trouble more favorites in the current season, the example of victories against Tottenham or Chelsea.
