Liverpool are taking one blow after another! Apart from Díaz, Alexander-Arnold and Matip are also out
Liverpool are reporting two new injuries ahead of this weekend’s game against Manchester City. First, there were reports that Luis Díaz will return to the pitch after the World Cup in Qatar, and now the pair of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip will be out for a few weeks.

At the beginning of the season, Jürgen Klopp had problems with the formation of the midfield line, which he solved with the guest appearance of Arthur Mel, who came to Liverpool from Juventus. However, he hasn’t started a league game yet, at least not a premier league one.
However, he could get a chance now that this Reds roster is out of the picture:: Caoimhín Kelleher, Curtis Jones, Calvin Ramsay, Andrew Robertson, Luis Díaz, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip and Naby Keita.
While Díaz will be out for 2-3 months, outfielders Alexander-Arnold and Matip should only miss the German coach for two weeks.
The good news is at least that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who was injured just before the start of the season, is reporting his return and it will obviously take some time to integrate him into the team.
Liverpool obviously have a quality team and Klopp will still be able to field a very strong starting eleven. But the problem already will be with the substitutions, of course.
Moreover, the Reds have 10 more games in the next 30 days or so, after which there will be a break for the World Cup in Qatar. Any more losses would be a real tragedy.
Moreover, these events are a problem especially because the Anfield players have not done very well so far and are only in 10th place with 10 points. Moreover, after Wednesday’s game against Rangers, Manchester City and a game-by-game improving West Ham await them.
Klopp has already tried a change of formation, now we might see some more surprising moves…
