Lions know the nomination for the European Championship barrage! Jurásek, Čvančara, Daněk and Vitík are in the team

Coach Jan Suchopárek has announced his Lvičát’s nomination for the barrage double match with Iceland. The strong team will be full of league footballers who belong to the starting line-up of not only the leading teams.

The Czech national U21 football team has an important double match against Iceland, which will decide whether or not they qualify for the European Championship.

Coach Jan Suchopárek has already presented his nomination, which includes traditional mainstays. The trio of goalkeepers Jaroš, Kinský and Kovář, who made his debut in Sparta on Saturday, will fight for a position in the starting line-up.

In defence, Jurásek is not missing, more precisely David, who would definitely be good for the A team, but the barrage is more important. Together with him, Cedidla, Hranáč, Endl, A. Gabriel, Pech, Vitík and Červ are in the nomination.

The midfield will not be weak either, with Daněk, Kaloč, Karabec, F. Souček, Ševčík, Valenta and Žambůrek. Čvančara and Fila will take care of the attack.

The first game is scheduled for 23 September in Reykjavik, Iceland. The return match, to be played in České Budějovice, is scheduled for four days later.

Tickets are still available for the return leg, but if you are not going to the stadium, you will be able to watch both matches on CT Sport.
