The list of thirty names that will be in the running to win the Ballon d’Or is already known. Among them, of course, is Lionel Messi, who has had a successful season and is one of the favourites to win this individual award.
On the other hand, none of his former Barcelona teammates are on the shortlist. Therefore, Messi’s vote will be a little more difficult. However, the Argentine striker is already clear about his vote, and in an interview he even gave the names of those he will vote for.
It is clear that Messi will vote for his PSG teammates. “There are two players in my team that I will definitely vote for – Neymar and Kylian,” Lionel Messi told France Football magazine.
And who could get his next vote? “It could be Lewandowski, who has had a great season. And then there is Benzema, who has played very well,” Messi revealed.
Lionel Messi has revealed the four players he is considering. Currently, the list of thirty candidates is known, one of whom will win the individual Ballon d’Or trophy.
The winner will be announced on 29 November, with Lionel Messi being the biggest favourite to win.
