Lionel Messi has the coronavirus and will miss the Lyon game!

Lionel Messi has tested positive for the coronavirus and will have to take a forced break. But Messi is not the only PSG player who will miss the match against Lyon because of this illness.

Paris Saint Germain has come out with a statement regarding the footballers health. Several of them have contracted the coronavirus and will not be seen on the pitch for a while.

The biggest name on the list is Lionel Messi, who is not having the best time of his career in France.

He has scored only one goal in eleven league games, but fortunately for him and his team, he has done better in the Champions League, scoring five times.

Apart from Messi, Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico and Nathan Bitumazala have also been infected. Neymar remains injured and should return to training towards the end of the month.

PSG are now preparing for a cup clash with Vannes, after which the players of the nine-time champion travel to Lyon, who are not performing optimally in the league.
