Libor Kozák was a free agent in the summer, as his contract with Sparta expired and both entities decided not to renew it.
The thirty-two year old forward was looking for a new club, which eventually became the Hungarian Puskás Akadémia. It is a team that wants to fight for the highest ranks.
Kozák has been in the starting line-up since the end of September, but he has not scored a goal. He only managed to do so at the weekend, scoring twice on Sunday against Debrecen.
Thanks to his two goals, Puskás added three important points to the table and is now in third place with nineteen points.
Second-placed Ferencváros has the same number of points but a better score, with Kisvarda leading the league with twenty points, but they have played one more game.
However, it is not only Kozák, but also Jakub Plšek and Patrizio Stronati who are in Puskás’ starting line-up. Moreover, the club is coached by Slovak Zsolt Hornyák.
