Lewandowski’s agent gets a hefty sum for his client’s transfer to Barcelona

The transfer sum, including bonuses, may not be the final figure for the new club. A typical example is the transfer of Robert Lewandowksi to the Catalan capital. He will have to dig deep into his pocket for his arrival.

Pini Zahavi is Robert Lewandowski’s player agent. He will receive €20 million as a commission for arranging his client’s transfer to Barcelona.

This fact was revealed by the renowned Spanish journalist Alfredo Martinez. The payment will be divided into four instalments – the agent will receive 5 million euros a year.

Agents’ fees are not usually included in the transfer fee. If we do the math right, Barcelona will probably pay around €70 million for Lewandowski given the new circumstances.

Just to remind you. The Polish striker came to Barcelona for 45 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses. Zahavi is one of the most famous football agents in the world.

In his portfolio, he has players like Christopher Nkunku, Yannick Carrasco and Aleksandar Mitrovic, among others. He is said to have a very warm relationship with the president of the Catalan big club, Joanen Laporta.
