Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembélé are undoubtedly among the key players of Barcelona football. And they proved it on Sunday night when the Catalan giant welcomed Athletic Bilbao to their home ground.
It was this star duo who scored the first goal of the match. In the 12th minute, Dembélé scored with a successful shot from outside the sixteen after a pass from the Polish sharpshooter.
Six minutes later, the Frenchman found himself in a passing role for a change. Sergi Roberto took advantage of his pass to score. Then, in the 22nd minute, Lewandowski finally got his chance
It was the Polish striker who provided a truly beautiful moment of football. Dembélé sent him a precise pass into the opposition’s sixth and Lewandowski made a beautiful turn and finished into the opposite corner of the goal.
It was the 12th league goal for the Polish sharpshooter this season and it just confirms that he is truly one of the best strikers of the moment. Regardless of which club he plays for.
