Lewandowski criticises the Spanish league and the referees. Will the Barcelona star be punished with a multi-game suspension?

Two more different competitions would be hard to find. Whereas in the Bundesliga there is attractive, dynamic and offensive football, in which many goals are scored, in La Liga there is a lot of simulation, backstabbing, arguments with referees and there is no question of footballing beauty.
Yet the prerequisites for attractive football would be there. The Spanish competition has a huge number of technically perfectly gifted players. The quality and attractiveness of the competition has already been criticised by several leading figures in La Liga. For example, coaches Xavi and Manuel Pellegrini.
Now Robert Lewandowski, who has come to Barcelona from Germany, specifically from Bayern Munich, has commented on Spanish football. He has now started his second season in Catalonia and is clearly far from satisfied.
“La Liga is not attractive and attacking enough. Moreover, the referees are killing the competition. I didn’t expect Spanish teams to be so reluctant to play football,” Lewandowski expressed in an interview with Meczyki.
The fact is that it doesn’t score that much extra for the Polish sharpshooter in Barcelona. His first year was decent, but compared to Bayern it was definitely not the same. Last season, he scored 23 league goals in 34 games and added 7 assists.
In the new season he has one goal and one assist in three league games. He will be able to add more on Sunday at Osasuna. However, he is in danger after his statement.
Lewandowski broke a rule that prevents criticism of referees and could face a possible stoppage. Jose Gaya and Sergio Canales, for example, were given a four-match suspension last season for criticising referees.
