Arsenal have their second away game in a row. After the success at Aston Villa, they will travel to Leicester, who have picked up a lot after the winter break. What to expect from the game and what to bet on?
Leicester have picked up after the winter boost, winning two of the last three rounds, giving Tottenham and Aston Villa a four. But they are still only 14th in the table, just four points above the relegation zone.
A week ago, Arsenal managed a very important battle at Aston Villa and broke the streak of three rounds without a single win. It is back at the top of the table, Manchester City has two points less and has played an extra round.
Leicester’s key figures
The Foxes are backed by the decent form of Kelechi Iheanacho, the Nigerian international striker has netted five goals and assisted three times. Offensive midfielder James Maddison scored nine times and assisted on five goals.
Arsenal’s key figures
Bukayo Saka is worth mentioning in the visitors’ squad, he netted ten goals and added six assists. Winter signing Jorginho took the place of the injured Thomas Partey, in the last game he made the difference with a shot from outside the box.
What to expect and what to bet on?
Leicester’s attack has got going, but the defence is floundering and although it has improved, it is still not 100 per cent. With 41 goals conceded, it is the second worst in the league, conceding more than once in five of its last seven games.
Moreover, Arsenal are pedalling forward, with 51 shots they have the second best attack in the league after the unbeaten Manchester City. It has scored two or more goals in five of its last seven games, including successful games at Tottenham or Brighton.
Considering Arsenal’s mentally extremely important win at Aston Villa and Leicester’s drubbing by Manchester United, I think Arsenal will take the game and get the important three points.
