Sunday’s Premier League schedule will feature a Leeds vs. Crystal Palace rescue match alongside Liverpool vs. Arsenal. What to expect and what to bet on from the match between the teams separated by a single point?

Leeds have managed to win two of their last three games, in addition to beating Wolverhampton and Nottingham, their rivals in the fight for survival. It is 16th in the table, but is just a point above the relegation zone.

Crystal Palace ended their long wait for a league win a week ago and remain in 14th place. Near the bottom of the pack, however, this means only a two-point lead for relegation, while back in the autumn it looked like a quiet mid-table.

Leeds’ key figures

Long-time mainstay Jack Harrison, author of four goals, nine assists and a sympathetic performance in the last round, is putting in a sympathetic performance. The expected quality is finally being shown by Luis Sinisterra, yet more than the 5+1 record was expected.

Palace’s key figures

The visitors need a confident Eberechi Eze, the English speedster has four goals and three assists. Summer signing Cheick Doucouré has been putting in a sympathetic performance, with the 23-year-old defensive midfielder also providing two assists.

What to expect and what to bet on?

Leeds are struggling defensively, 49 league goals conceded is the fourth worst figure in the whole league, and the Whites have played one less round. They have scored more than one goal in four of their last six games.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace can rely on their defence, after all, Marc Guehi and Tyrick Mitchell are members of the England national team’s wider squad. 39 goals conceded is the second lowest number of the second half of the table after Chelsea.

Considering the improved atmosphere in the Seagulls team after last week’s win, as well as Leeds’ struggling defence, I don’t think Crystal Palace will lose at a packed Elland Road.
