Last fight in the UFC? If I don’t win, it’s a definite end, but I don’t admit that yet, admits Dvorak
David Dvořák is not having the best time of his career. The elite Czech fighter has fallen for the third time in a row in the UFC and is close to his end in the prestigious organization. He needs to win his last fight and then he will hope to be offered a contract extension.

David Dvorak was in his sixth fight in the UFC, but his first ever appearance on the numbered card. He was supposed to be fighting to get closer to the top five, with Matt Schnell standing in his way, but the situation was completely different in the end.
Schnell was injured and eight days before the tournament, a new opponent had to be found. Dvorak wanted to fight at any cost and the UFC got him a replacement in Stephen Erceg, who was about to make his debut in the organization.
The Czech fighter was confident, he was the favourite. After all, despite two losses in a row, he was still top ten at his weight, had tougher opponents and more experience than Erceg. Before the fight, he believed Erceg could threaten him mostly just by his ferocity at the beginning of the round.
But that didn’t happen, Ercog won on points and the Czech fighter was sad for the third time in a row. Not only did he lose his chance to jump into the elite five, but he also significantly increased his chances of finishing in the UFC.
He has one last fight left on his current contract in the elite organization. And it’s pretty clear that a fourth defeat wouldn’t earn him a new one. He’s well aware of that.
“Right now I’m currently three three, with three losses in a row unfortunately, which is pretty annoying. If I don’t win, that’s a definite end, but I don’t admit that yet.
I’m confident of being up there with them and I’ll do my best. I know I can measure up to these guys, even though it doesn’t look like it right now, but I want to be there and I want to keep going,” Dvorak admitted during his livestream.
Even after a possible win, he won’t have any certainty. So he will have to show something to impress the organization’s management in his last game. But it all also depends on the opponent the UFC chooses for him.
