Kylian Mbappé stays in Paris! He was given abnormal conditions! How does the Czech football public react?

It’s decided! kylian Mbappé’s (un)transfer saga is over. The PSG star striker has decided to stay in Paris, so the famous Real Madrid player was finally given the boot. Mbappé received an incredible offer from the Parisian big club owned by Qatari sheiks. Whether it’s good for him and the club is a big question, but who among us wouldn’t nod at such terms?

According to many sources, Kylian Mbappé was given an incredible package just for signing a new contract. It is said to be as much as a whopping 300 million euros. As part of the contract, he will also receive an annual salary of €100 million after tax.

Yes, these are truly astronomical sums, but that’s to be expected. The Qatari owners wanted to keep Mbappé at all costs and therefore financial (in)fair play was to be expected in full force. Anyway, even more striking are the powers the French striker was allegedly given as part of his contract.

He is supposed to be able to co-decide on the coaching position, he is supposed to influence the decisions of the club’s sporting director and he is also supposed to have a say in PSG’s transfer policy.

This means that he can more or less be involved in the departure of a player or, conversely, the arrival of possible reinforcements. Is this really a sensible solution that should ensure a successful future for the Parisian big club?

And what about Mbappé’s sporting performance? Will he still be motivated? What will he fight for? Will he have the desire to improve? That is the question. Maybe so, he’s a professional after all.

The reaction of the Czech football public

Many members of the Czech football public, including journalists Jan Podrouzek and Luděk Mádl, have commented on the (non)transfer bet about Kylian Mbappé.

“Whether these or those amounts are confirmed, as several versions have emerged, what is certain is that the term “signing bonus” takes on a whole new dimension after today. Then Čeferin and co. can talk about some regulations from morning till night,” Luděk Mádl tweeted.

“From a purely tactical point of view, PSG’s behaviour towards Mbappe is not surprising. He is the best outlet and the most valuable player in the world. But one wonders if for the money they would rather rebuild most of the team in Paris and get rid of the toxicity in the cabin that makes no one succeed there,” tweeted the football profile of Vrbas’ winger.

“Suicide of talent. Murder of football. A flush to his PSG teammates. He will never be a legend, never again,” Zdeněk Koutský was not complaining.
