A record-breaker, a goal-killer and the most expensive player on the football market – that’s how the 23-year-old French international can be described in a nutshell.
His current market value is set at €160 million, but he is backed by Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, whose market value is only ten million less according to Transfermarkt.
Mbappé has accomplished a lot in his career so far, for example, he recently took away Messi’s record of being the youngest scorer of 30 goals in the Champions League (he was 22 years and 352 days old).
In 2018, he was named French Footballer of the Year, the same year he became World Champion with his national team. In the 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons, he topped the Ligue 1 top scorers table.
Four times he became league champion (3 times with PSG, once celebrating the title with Monaco), three times he rejoiced in winning the French Cup and twice lifted the trophy for the French League Cup winner over his head.
Among other things, he celebrated his UEFA Nations League championship with France this year. His individual stats are simply and simply breathtaking.
So far, he has managed to hit a total of 258 games in which he has scored 177 goals and assisted on another 94. In the current season so far, he has featured in 24 games across all competitions for PSG and has registered fifteen goals and fifteen assists.
So let’s wish Mbappe good health and many more career successes.
