This year’s Roland Garros caught Petra Kvitova in excellent form! The 11th player in the world managed to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
There you go! For the second time in her career, Petra Kvitova has made it to the semi-finals of Roland Garros. The first time was in 2012.
In the quarter-finals, she managed to beat Laura Siegemund in two sets in one hour and 18 minutes. She won both sets by the same score of 6:3.
During the whole tournament Kvitova has not lost a single set and except for one match she managed to win all of them within an hour and a half.
“It means a lot to me. After everything I’ve been through, I couldn’t even imagine that I would be able to fight my way into the semifinals here,” Petra Kvitova let herself be heard after advancing.
She will face the winner of the match between Sofia Kenin and Danielle Rose Collins in the final.
