Kvaratskhelia signs a new contract in Naples, but has two clear conditions! How much will he earn per year?

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is undoubtedly one of Napoli’s biggest stars and probably the biggest discovery of the current football season. There has been speculation in Italy for some time about a potential extension to his contract, but now there should finally be clarity.

Kvaratskhelia only transferred to Naples last July, but almost immediately he not only joined the starting line-up of the Italian side, but became one of the biggest stars of Serie A. The Partenopei brought him over from Dinamo Batumi, for the sum of €11 and a half million.

According to the Transfermarkt website, his market value at the time was €15 million, having multiplied in value during his time in Naples.

And as for his current balance sheet? He has played 23 league games in the Italian top flight for Napoli, scoring twelve goals and assisting twelve more. An impressive job by a left winger.

So it’s understandable that the 22-year-old Georgian international is on the radar of Europe’s biggest clubs.

But Napoli would logically want to keep him, and there has been speculation in Italy for some time now as to whether or not Kvaratskhelia will actually sign a contract extension. Now, however, it seems the jury is finally out.

Details of the new contract

Indeed, Georgian journalist Dachi Tsurtsumia has come forward with the information that both sides have agreed to the new deal and everything is ready. The signing date is scheduled for June, as confirmed by Italian media.

The contract should not include an exit clause, which in this case is certainly good for Napoli. This way, it can negotiate more with potential suitors on the transfer amount. So, although this signing is supposed to be a certainty, the club must meet two crucial conditions.

These are to win the title and go as far as possible in the Champions League. What about the specific details of the contract? Kvaratskhelia is expected to sign until the end of June 2028, earning 2 and a half million euros per season.
