Will Toni Kroos leave Real Madrid? The 33-year-old German international may be facing his last year at the Spanish big club, with Pep Guardiola keen to sign him for Manchester City. The latter has experience with Kroos from Bayern Munich.

Toni Kroos so far in the current competitive season, that age is really just a number. Or at least in his case it is at the moment.

The thirty-three year old footballer has a great form. However, Kroos has been showing a really solid performance at Real Madrid consistently for several years now.

Although at the beginning of the season it was more the young players, most often Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, who were given the opportunity, Kroos has found his way back into the starting line-up of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

In any case, Kroos is only under contract at the Spanish giant until the end of June next year, so speculation about his possible last season in Real colours is understandable.

A question mark therefore hangs over his footballing future. However, if he does indeed end his involvement with Real, he probably doesn’t have to worry about his job. Pep Guardiola has expressed interest in him.

He would like to have him in Manchester City’s squad, and the fifty-two-year-old has already had experience with him. And that’s from when Guardiola coached Bayern Munich.

According to reports from Football España, the Citizens are willing to offer Kroos a contract worth €15 million for one year.

However, the problem could be the fact that Kroos has already expressed his wish to end his active career at Real Madrid. So whether he will stay or actually move to Manchester, we will know in the coming months.
