As usual Jaroslav Šilhavy had to deal with several excuses. Four players dropped out of his original nomination for the Czech national football team meeting and will be replaced by five players from the Fortuna League.

Jaroslav Šilhavý had to accept excuses from both Sparta and Slavia. The latter excused the injured Petr Ševčík, who did not play in the league match against Pardubice.

Sparta didn’t let three players go to the reunion. Defenders Ondřej Čelůstka and Tomáš Wiesner and forward Adam Hložek. All are plagued by injuries.

On the other hand, five players from Fortuna Liga will try the atmosphere of the matches against Kuwait and Estonia. Milan Havel, Jan Sýkora and Jan Kopic are returning to the national team, while Michael Krmenčík has also earned an invitation.

His person has been much talked about in recent weeks, he made a lot of enemies in Plzeň. Now he will meet several of them in the same jersey.

The only newcomer is Filip Panák. The Spartan stopper has been giving reliable performances after overcoming severe health problems, and the invitation to the national team has given him back all the hard work he sacrificed for his comeback.

Jaroslav Šilhavy’s charges will first play Kuwait in a friendly match on Thursday and then challenge Estonia in a qualifying match on Tuesday.
