Norwegian champion Bodo/Glimt has an important match on Saturday, if they want to fight for the title they have to win at the last place Kristiansund. What to expect from the match and what to bet on?
Kristiansund have played the fewest games of all the teams, but they have won only one point from seven rounds and that is the main reason why they are last in the table. They are seven points behind the barrier place with three games to go.
Bodo/Glimt, who reached the quarter-finals of the Conference Europe League this season, are languishing in the league. It has won only one of its last six Eliteserien matches, is only eighth in the table and is eleven points behind the leaders with a game to spare.
The home side do not have a single player in their squad who has scored more than once. Talented Albanian Agon Mucolli scored one goal and assisted one. Right back Snorre Strand Nilsen is also a mainstay of the team.
Amahl Pellegrino has been firing it up in a Glimtu jersey, the experienced spike forward has scored nine times and assisted five times. Central midfielder Ulrik Saltnes scored eight goals and assisted on six more. The injured Erik Botheim is also a mainstay.
Kristiansund has struggled especially in attack, scoring more than once in only one of their last five league games.
On the other hand, Bodu has been firing for a long time, as the teams in the Conference League have found out. It has netted eleven goals in the last four rounds.
Considering the terrible form of the home team, I think Glimt will confirm the role of favourite, win and score at least two goals.
