In the final of the men’s tournament in Adelaide, two well-known players of the world tennis clashed. Novak Djokovic entered the match as the clear favourite. But he was unusually eager to win his first title of the year and Sebastian Korda did not give him a free ball.

Novak Djokovic started the new tennis season on a high note by winning the title at the Adelaide tournament, which is played on a hard surface. On his way to the final, he knocked out some tough opponents, including Shapovalov and Medvedev.

But Djokovic’s toughest match was in the final. The whole match lasted 3:11 and two TB were played. Korda managed the first one better, in the second set it was a fight for every ball, but in the end Djokovic won it for himself again in TB. In the third set, Djokovic dominated and didn’t allow any surprises.

During the match, both players exchanged serve only once in the first set and in the third set Djokovic broke serve only in the last and winning game. Korda also had one break point in the second set but was unable to take advantage of it.

Djokovic lost the match on aces as the 196 cm tall Korda gave him no chance in this regard and won on aces 15::7. However, in the intermediate game, he was not able to keep up with Djokovic in the end.

Nevertheless, Korda gave a great performance worthy of the former world junior number one. At the age of 22, he is one of the promises of men’s tennis.

Djokovic made his return to Australia in style and won his first title of the season. He looks to be in great form ahead of the Australian Open, but can he extend his collection and win another Grand Slam title?
