Kolo Muani to Manchester United? Frankfurt’s star striker could move, but his price tag reaches huge heights
Will Randal Kolo Muani transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to Manchester United? That’s a really big question at the moment and more of a speculation. But the fact is that the star Frenchman is on Erik ten Hag’s list of potential summer transfers, moreover, the Red Devils are said to be ready to release a large enough sum of money.
Randal Kolo Muani was still a player of French side Nantes last season. He was putting up pretty decent numbers, but he was hardly known about. And Eintracht Frankfurt took advantage of that in the summer. The Europa League winner brought the French striker for free.
And since then, the 24-year-old Frenchman has been on a roll. He has played 41 games for Frankfurt across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and assisting 15 more.
He is the driving force of the team and has even made the French national team. He was not missing at the World Cup in Qatar, where he scored a goal in the semi-final and an assist in the final.
It is no wonder then that the young German star is on the radar of Europe’s big clubs. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt , is €65 million, with his contract in Frankfurt valid until the end of June 2027.
However, should Eintracht sell him in the summer, it will be for a much higher price. And Manchester United know that very well. It is the English club that has shown interest in Kolo Muani. The Red Devils are looking for a number one striker for the new season.
The priority on their list of potential transfers is Harry Kane from Tottenham. However, if Manchester fail to bring the England international, coach Erik ten Hag has two other players in his sights.
One of them is already Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan, the other one is Kolo Muani. As previously reported by German newspaper Bild, the Red Devils are reportedly ready to release £106 million for his transfer.
This role was supposed to be filled by Wout Weghorst at the Manchester big club, but he did not follow up his performances at Burnley or Wolfsburg. In addition to the aforementioned duo, there is also talk of Victor Osimhen, but there is a bigger question mark hanging over him.
