The Slovak national team will face Kazakhstan in the fourth match of the Nations League on Monday. The winner will top the table, what to expect from the match and what to bet on?
Kazakhstan can be happy with the way the Nations League has gone so far. After a 2:0 win over Azerbaijan, it surprisingly won on the ground of the favoured Slovakia (1:0), but only lost points in a 1:1 draw in Belarus.
Slovakia football ideal period. The relegation to the third division is perceived as a disgrace, moreover, the neighbors do not even lead the table, as they lost their first match with Kazakhstan. They are one point behind the first place.
Kazakhstan is led by captain Askhat Tagybergen, who has scored four goals and assisted four times this season from his position as a central midfielder. Talented number ten Elkhan Astanov has contributed to six goals, scoring three and assisting on three.
On the away side, Marek Hamsik has retired from the national team, so Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodak, Inter Milan stopper Milan Škriniar and Slavia striker Ivan Schranz will be the mainstays in the coming years.
The home side rely on a well-functioning defence, having conceded only once in their last four games.
That is a problem for the Slovaks, who have scored more than one goal only once in their last five games. Considering the good atmosphere in the Slovakian cabinet after the change of coach, I think the visitors will win.
